Clarification for Awarding
of Provisionals
All signed affiliate sanctioning
bodies with two or more cars in attendance are guaranteed to have at least one
representative in the A Main starting line-up.
The A Main starting
line-up will be determined as follows:
-
Positions 1 through 18 will be made
up of the six heat race finishing positions 1 through 3;
-
Positions 19 through 24 will
consist of the first 2 finishers in each of the three B Mains;
-
FRIDAY
Night(s) A Main Winner(s)
will occupy positions 26 & 27 as necessary. If only one is
required, they will start 27th. If two are required, the winner of
Fridays A
-
PROVISIONALS
will be awarded to any signed
affiliate (of the 6) with two or more cars in attendance that does not have a
representative in the A Main line-up. The
fastest time trialed non-qualified car from all affiliates who do not have a car
in the A Main goes to position 25 , with the next fastest timed non-qualified car if necessary
to position 29
etc.
until all affiliates are represented. If positions 26 &
27 are occupied,
and more
provisionals are
required , the provisionals will line up starting in positions
29 as required. Starting
positions will be added to the A Main to accommodate this as necessary. All
cars awarded provisionals must have completed
their B Main
but do not have to run the "Little Feature".

If
neither Friday night A Main winner requires their earned guaranteed
starting position and affiliate provisionals are not required,
A Main starting positions 25; 26 & 27 will be filled by the highest time
trialed car(s) completing a B Main yet failing to qualify.
- A "Little Feature" will be run for all remaining non-qualified cars. The winner will start scratch (position 30) in the "A" Main.

Friday
nights twin feature winners will be guaranteed positions 26 and
27 provided
they have not otherwise qualified and have made a reasonable attempt to do so
as determined by the event coordinator.

ANY
car that transfers from the B Main to the A Main will receive $25
for their B Main finish. All cars finishing behind the transfer car will
move up one position and be paid accordingly. (ie: if the 5th place
car transfers with a provisional, they will receive $25 and be guaranteed $500
to start the A Main the 6th place car in the B Main
would then receive fifth place money for the B Main ($250) and everyone
elses pay will move up one position.
